Every square is ten terawatt-hours of electricity. One is the Pacific.
The world generated about 29,000 terawatt-hours in 2022. Eighteen Pacific island
countries and territories together generated 11. The rest of the world burns through their entire
year in a little over three hours.

INSIDE THE SQUARE
Eighteen countries. Eleven terawatt-hours.
That one square, divided. Each square is a country or territory, sized by the electricity
it generates and placed where it sits in the ocean. How full it is and its colour, is the share
that comes from renewables: rust/red at the bottom of the range, green at the top.
